We often tell ourselves stories that shape the way we think and lead. For better or worse, they inform our decisions and behavior, shaping what we notice and how we interpret it. You might think, for instance, “Everything is always a battle around here.” This will make you more likely to expect hostility, and be primed to attack or defend.

A colleague who always thinks they’re right can be extremely frustrating. There are a few ways to keep the relationship productive and professional. The next time you find yourself in a debate with this person, don’t fight back — escalating an argument won’t change their behavior.

What if you could choose one of two possible outcomes: a narrow win (you just beat your closest competitor) or a near miss (you were this close but didn’t make the cut). Which would you prefer? Most of us would choose to be the winner.

When it comes to emotional mental episodes.
Most times YOU ARE ALONE. (The more reason we need to improve & develop ourselves daily)
We must make time and understanding of how we as individuals treat and speak ourselves.

1. What are your priorities?  What is troubling you right now? What do you think about... most often?

Social media is a great platform but not everything we read or see is true. If we don't want to be swallowed by the negativity and lies going on there, then we need to be social media-wise.  Be smart. Learn from the right people, communicate with real people more.

Imagine your mind is like a garden and your thoughts are seeds. (Close your eyes if you have to)

No matter how bad things go, you're still way ahead of everyone who isn't even trying. Keep going dear...one day it will pay off.

"At what point, within the last three years, did you identify a need in your community, and what did you do about it?" Each time I ask this question to young people, or broach it in conversation with their parents, teachers or mentors, I see the colour drain from their faces.

One thing I realized is that everything always ends up working out. Sometimes even better than you can imagine.

Stop wishing your life was different and live, the one you have
 because it's the only one you have got.

At some point, you have to let go of what you thought should happen and live in what is happening. Every moment matters. Wherever we are, be all there. Enjoy it all. The point of power is always in the present moment.
